This vitamin is responsible for helping the reproduction system and eyesight work properly. it also supports cell recognition and immune function. Vit A deficiency can cause keratomalacia and night blindness. Vit A supplements are usually prescribed to people suffering from Vit A deficiency. Animal sources like eggs, milk, tuna, herring, and liver and veg sources like turnip greens, broccoli, and spinach are good sources of Vit A.
Vit can be found in both food and supplements. This nutrient contains antioxidant properties that protects the cells against the damage of free radicals. Its anti-inflammation quality helps to fight acne bacteria without causing irritation or dryness. The deficiency of this vitamin can cause hemolytic anemia. Along with supplements food items like wheat germ, almonds, kiwis, eggs, vegetable oils, and nuts are good sources of Vit E. Though Vit E deficiency is very rare, it can cause severe complications to children’s health.
